Melbourne!

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that JAMS.TV will be operating an event ‘Kanpai Now! The Tastes of Japan’ which is organised by Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). We are pleased to announce the launch of the official website to provide the details of this event.

‘Kanpai Now! The Tastes of Japan’ is a promotional event with the aim to increase the popularity and consumption opportunities of Japanese alcoholic drinks to expand its exports from Japan.

In recent years, Japanese alcoholic drinks have been gaining attention in Australia due to the Australian diverse food culture which is underpinned by its flexible national character. This has naturally embraced the Japanese alcoholic drinks with the delicate taste and high quality as Japanese alcoholic drinks have been increasing the presence nationwide.

This event is organised with the cooperation of Japanese Food Supporter Stores, offering an opportunity for those in Australia to become more familiar with Japanese alcoholic drinks, while learning the fundamentals of tasting, the unique features of each production area as well as the brewing method, which all contributes to more fulfilling and satisfying experience.

A wide variety of 11 restaurants in Sydney and 4 restaurants in Melbourne will be participating in the event, as each restaurant offers free tastings up to three different brands from carefully selected Japanese alcoholic beverages. We hope that you will take this opportunity to enjoy the Japanese alcoholic drinks.

Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your kind cooperation and we wish you continued growth and success.
