7 January: Nanokado Hadaka Mairi Festival 

Experience the thrill of this unique festival, where men race up 113 stone steps to Enzoji Temple wearing only loincloths. This festival is rooted in an ancient legend and offers a glimpse into the vibrant culture of Yanaizu.

1 – 9 February: Iwaki Tsurushi-bina Matsuri 

Admire over 3,000 colourful dolls and folk art crafted from chirimen fabric adorning the Seikokan. Tsurushi Bina decorations, which come in all shapes and sizes, are traditionally given to young girls on Girls’ Day in March.
